From July 15th through July 24th I spent time in South Africa, in particular The Kingdom Of Swaziland. My mission was to perform a series of shows at night and work during the day with a group called Heart For Africa.

With that said, I believe it would be more effective for you to watch the video documentary, than for me to put into words (blog) about this incredible experience!

ALS Benefit Concert: 4/26/2010 – Atlanta, GA

I wanted to personally blog and tell you about a concert I will be involved with on April 26th, 2010 in Atlanta, GA. I will be part of the house band performing with Earl Klugh, Boney James and Mindi Abair. This is a special 1 night event to raise awareness/money for ALS research and jazz personality Deborah Lewow who was recently diagnosed with this horrible disease. Deborah was instrumental in helping Earl, Boney and Mindi’s career.

JPM to perform with Earl Klugh, Boney James, Mindi Abair

Joseph will be joining Earl Klugh, Boney James, Mindi Abair for an evening at The Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA. This is a special one night only concert with ALL PROCEEDS benefiting ALS Research and Deborah Lewow, a woman instrumental in the successful careers of many contemporary jazz artists. Other musicians will include Yon Rico Scott (drums), Joey Somerville (trumpet), Derek Lee (keys) and Eric Essix (guitar).

Check out a live TV appearance from April 19th, 2010 on Fox 5 Atlanta, GA to help promote the concert and bring awareness about ALS. This live clip features: Earl Klugh (guitar), YonRico Scott (drums), JPM (electric/upright bass).
